......is never a good thing. However, it has become evident that the current pace of our lives often leaves me in a blur. A number of things impact this- being a working mom, having mommy guilt, a husband who travels for work, girls who LOVE everything and want to DO everything, and should I say again, mommy guilt. Today for the first time in a very long time, we scheduled nothing on a Saturday (okay, well I had a hair appointment and during that time Alex went next door to Mathnasium). We all looked forward to hanging at home, putting up Christmas decorations, cleaning house and just be in control of our schedule. It was great. It is my hope that we can really slow down in the new year.
Here are a few pics from the last two weeks or so.....thankfully, technology allows us to capture these moments so you can reflect and enjoy the "blur" years to come.
Thanksgiving at Nannys
Visiting their cousins (no we don't drive like this, they just decided to pile into the car for a picture).
Visiting my mother, who we really should visit more often.
Swim lessons
Jordan lost not one but two teeth recently,
Christmas parade
Visit to Santa
Holiday crafts at Black Cultural Museum
Multiple trips to the library for reading and playing with puzzles.
I hope to do a separate post of what "learning" topics the girls are focusing on. I'm still trying to decide how I will use this blog going forward.
So beautiful. It's hard not to feel guilty, even harder for a working mom.

I think we all feel like our life is blurry every once in a while -- love the photos!
