This summer we vacationed for a week in lower Manhattan. It was wonderful to take the girls to a bustling city, visit all the touristy landmarks, and be pampered by the Ritz Carlton. Here's a picture journal of our first 1.5 days.
We arrived mid afternoon, and here's the view from our "Statue of Liberty" room.
We were pretty tired (except the girls, of course) so we let the kids get all their car riding energy out at this playground for the rest of the evening.
The next day we were up and out to Times Square.
Second stop, the American Girl store.
We found out that "Addy" needed to have a little surgery on all her joints, so she was checked into the hospital for the remainder of our vacation.
Then off to FAO Swartz for more fun & shopping. Who doesn't love this guy, he was fabulous!
