Still playing catch up here, my goal is to catch up so that I can print my blog as a book for Christmas. So, here we go!
7/23- Alex's dragon creation. Can you see it? I think she mixed some wax/clay and made it. The head is the yellow/orange circle to the right. Wings sprout up and the body in the center. Fire balls are behind and around it.
7/24-Celebrating uncle's birthday & Sunday deserts with grandma.
7/25- Some number/pasting work for Jordan
Montessori Grammar for Alex. I typically pull a sentence from a current read aloud or from our
WWE book. During the summer, the girls do school work for about 2.5 hours each morning. I've moved away from taking as many pictures during summer months as I want our memories to focus more on our family experiences. Come Fall- we're back to capturing more of their learning efforts.
7/26 A busy day.
Physicals for the girls.
Gymnastics and Addy returns from the "hospital".
7/27 We're off to see a one man band performance at the library
and dancing the evening away....
7/28 - We attended a children's play in the morning. Alex was chosen from the audience to play a small part (to scare the big bad wolf), video link coming :)
We stopped in admine pieces in the attached art gallery (Haitian Art).
and the rest of the evening relaxing at the pool.
7/29 A morning run to Strange's for our pea pod plant.
Then Jordan somehow convinced me to let them play at Chuck E Cheese.
I will say that giving the girls each $2.50 in coins allow me to have about 2 hours of relatively peaceful reading amidst it all. It's the cheapest babysitter (mother's helper) I know. Just bring LOTS of handsanitizer.
