Here's a recap of our first week in April...more updates to follow
Saturday, April 2rd, while hanging out at SPTC, I snapped this cutie picture of Kennedy.
Sunday, Alex showing her two grandma's her newest art work.
Monday, April 4th after school we went to the park and found this house relocated to it. It's an old 2 room "colored" schoolhouse. The county plans to renovate and open it up to the public. Great idea.
Then we played at the playground adjacent...Alex showing off her "chin ups"
Jordan found some kids her age to "drive" around town.
and Kennedy & I sang nursery rhymes on the swings
No picture on Tuesday....
...
Wednesday, the girls played basketball on daddys old hoop.
Alex completed another art project
No picture on April 7th (I'm starting to slack off, I know)
On Friday, April 8th, I took the girls to see "BIG" the musical put on by the local highschool.
and here's the infamous jumping on keys scene...
They did a great job and it's always so nice to see many of my 8th graders as seniors and how they've grown up. It's also nice to have them remember me fondly and introduce me to their folks and friends.....and best of all- offer to babysit my little ones sometime :)
I love the shot of your daughter hanging on the bar...that was ME! :)

Looks like you had a fun-filled week! A day in the park sounds like a wonderful way to enjoy a warm day. (We're still wearing coats here in Wisconsin...I'm a little jealous!) ;)
Your children look like they enjoy all of the playground equipment...cute!

Great pictures! Can you post what a typical week day schedule looks like for your girls as well as a weekend schedule?

That really is a cute picture of Kennedy...it seems like sometimes she gets lost in the shuffle so it's nice to see her front and center!!
I love that Jordan is still loving the park in a skirt.
You quoted the word "colored" for the school house, am I to assume you literally mean a school for "colored" children, or that the school house was colored??? :0)
I need to get on the band wagon and take the little one to a play, I just keep underestimating her wiliness to sit still that long.
